Growing grey hair gracefully

Growing your grey hair out can seem like a tedious task, but it doesn't have to be an unsightly or costly problem though! If you are attempting to grow your un-pigmented hair out, opt for the demi-permanent hair color. Although this method doesn't offer 100% grey coverage and will fade over time (4-8 weeks), it will allow you to grow your hair out without the unsightly 'line of demarcation'. This is the band of color that you see as your re-growth area becomes more apparent. There are many benefits to using the demi-permanent method versus the more traditional permanent hair color:

+ Demi-permanent color generally makes hair more shiny and glossy!
+ Because this color gradually fades over time, there is no long-term color commitment!
+ Eventually save more money! Once you have fully grown out, you don't need to continue hair color services!
+ No more re-growth lines!

One thing to keep in mind is that if your intention is to have every single grey hair on your head covered, demi-permanent is NOT for you. The effectiveness of demi-permanent on un-pigmented hair varies from person-to-person and will typically appear slightly translucent. Good luck!
